Backstory

[The Realm of Vana'diel | FFXI Storyline]Davos Severand was an orphan who was raised in Squire Alley in the Kingdom of San d'Oria shortly after the Crystal War. He spent most of his younger years learning from the pick-pockets and thieves that skulked the alleyways before he had enough knowledge and confidence to embark on his own.During the Age of Adventurers, he came to find his morals and dignity being defined by a legendary and righteous Paladin named Dravian, who led Davos, as well as a group of friends, through the realm in order to foster a Family or Brotherhood; where times were beginning to turn for the dark.A decade had chronicled what seemed to be a lifetime of events for Davos. The small family had started to branch out on their own after the mysterious disappearance of Dravian and Davos felt compelled to do whatever he could to find him.It wasn't until Cavernous Maws started popping up all around Vana'diel that random adventurers were subjected to Time Travel, and how Davos met a Cait Sith, who understood the compassionate Davos' devotion to finding his friend but never expected him to attempt to jump through an unknown Runic Portal while in the Realm between Realms.

[The Seventh Umbral Era | The Fall of Dalamud]Davos found himself adrift in the Lominsan sea half-conscious during a storm and was very lucky to be spotted by a fishing vessel who harbored him back to the docks of Limsa. Under the care of a small fishing family who attempted to question him, Davos realized he'd been hit with a serious case of amnesia; the cause remaining unknown.Davos spent a few months working at the harbor to help pay back the family for their care. He would utilize his combat skillset and prowess, however, for the Maelstrom.It wasn't long before the forces of Eorzea were to come together and face the beginning of the fall. While mustering all the strength he could, Davos fought in the prevailing clash to help prevent the awakening of the Elder Primal, Bahamut.Alas, during what seemed like a hopeless and endless fight, the Elder Primal had come to lay waste to the land. In all of a flash, Louisoix had done something, and long before Davos could find a moment to breathe, he was suddenly back in Limsa.
